Judge Dolores Lozano

Judge Dolores Lozano made history as the first woman to be elected as Harris County Justice of the Peace in Precinct 2, Place 2 on November 8, 2022. Precinct 2 encompasses significant regions of the Greater Houston Metro area, including the City of Houston, City of South Houston, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Pasadena, Pearland, Friendswood, Webster, Clear Lake, and League City.

Born and raised in Southeast Houston, Judge Lozano shattered barriers as the first in her family to attend college, earning her bachelor's degree from Baylor University. Her commitment to community development, public affairs, and public relations has made a profound impact throughout her career, particularly in championing the voices of youth to drive positive change across the State of Texas.

Judge Lozano currently presides over a wide range of cases as Justice of the Peace in Precinct 2 Place 2, including evictions, small claims, traffic violations, and truancy matters. Her dedication to advancing justice, dignity, and peace for all is unwavering.

In addition to her public service, Judge Lozano shares her life with her husband and best friend, Kory, along with their two beloved dogs.
